Through physician and patient journey mapping, we discovered it takes 8-36 hours for a heart attack patient to seek treatment. The average procedure time for 90% of patients was 25 minutes.
Outcome:
Developed blue ocean space. Generated 100+ concepts for entirely new device for detection and intervention. For current product, shifted strategy which led to 25 additional intellectual property disclosures.
